On February 02, 2026, the European Union has launched a new support fund to help small and medium-sized companies (SMEs) based in the European Union to access and benefit from their intellectual property (IP) rights.

Open to all companies in the EU that fit the official definition os SME,the new program offers financial support for trademark, patent, and design/model registration applications, allowing SMEs to obtain partial refunds of official fees.
