Francisco de Novaes was founded on 1880 by "Comendador" Guilherme João Carlos Henriques.

Francisco de Novaes da Cunha e Brito Soto Maior de Ataíde, “FRANCISCO DE NOVAES” continued in 1925 the project, who passed away on 1954.

Since 1954 his grandson, Francisco de Novaes, the present chairman, carried on his professional activity as Industrial Property Official Agent, supported by his group of collaborators specialized in the different areas of Intellectual Property, always maintaining a familiar spirit.
